1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use Pairr.

You must be 18 or older. There are no exceptions, and we verify your date of birth at signup.

2. What Pairr is

Pairr helps people find someone compatible and meet them in person. We introduce people. We do not vet them beyond what is described in section 5, and we do not guarantee that anyone is who they claim to be, that you will match with anyone, or that a date will go well.

Meeting someone from the internet carries risk. Read our Safety page before your first date. It is short and it is worth your time.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information. Your Reality Photo must be of you, taken in the app, at the time.
• One account per person.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Don't share, sell or transfer your account.
• Don't create a new account to evade a suspension.

4. What you may not do

You may not:

• Impersonate anyone, or use photographs that aren't of you
• Harass, threaten, stalk or intimidate
• Send sexual content to someone who hasn't asked for it
• Post nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence
• Solicit money, advertise, or promote anything
• Be under 18, or seek anyone under 18 — this results in an immediate permanent ban and, where appropriate, a report to authorities
• Scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the service
• Share another person's private information, including screenshots of conversations, without consent
• Use Pairr for anything illegal

5. Verification, and its limits

Every Reality Photo is taken inside the app and screened automatically, with human review where anything is uncertain.

This confirms a photograph is a real, current image of a real person. It does not confirm identity, character, criminal history or intentions. We do not run background checks. Treat verification as one signal among several, not as safety.

6. Safety and moderation

We take reports seriously and act on them quickly. We may remove content, suspend or ban accounts at our discretion where we believe these terms have been broken or someone is at risk.

Where a report is serious, we preserve the relevant conversation as evidence, even if the account involved is later deleted. This is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may report conduct to law enforcement where we believe someone is in danger or a crime has occurred.

7. Pairr Premium

• Premium is billed through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel through your store account — we cannot cancel on your behalf.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period continues to its end.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Promotional codes grant a fixed period and never auto-renew.

Premium never buys visibility. It cannot make you appear more often, rank higher, or be shown before anyone else. Anyone claiming otherwise is mistaken. This is enforced in our code, not merely promised here.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of your photographs and writing. You grant us a licence to host, display and distribute them within Pairr for as long as your account exists, solely to operate the service.

You confirm you have the right to everything you upload.

Success stories you choose to publish may be shown publicly, without any link to your account.

9. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. It is immediate.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, put someone at risk, or where we are legally required to.

If we terminate your account for a serious safety breach, you are not entitled to a refund of any unused subscription period.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Pairr running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. Where a change is material, we will tell you.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• Pairr is provided "as is"
• We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or in person
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
• Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim

Nothing here excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. In Australia, our goods and services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

12. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before taking effect. Continuing to use Pairr afterwards means you accept them.
